5 Months

Samuel, you're 5 months old today! Here are a few things you can do as a big 5-month old:

• Rolling, rolling, rolling...you roll all over the place. When Grammy and Papa were here you got really good at flipping from your back to your tummy. That made you really mad so you had to work hard to flip back the other way. Now there's no stopping you!
• You love to play with toys! Especially the ones that make the crinkly noises. I attached one to your stroller and you entertain yourself all over the neighborhood. You even made through Hobby Lobby this week with no fussing. Yea for toys!
• You love the taste of your big toes. There's no better snack after a roll across the living room!
• You have the most hysterical cackle. For some reason you think watching me emptying the dish washer is hilarious. You also think your Daddy is pretty funny.
• You love to play with your friends. They're all girls but you don't seem to mind(in fact you're kind of a flirt). That's good because yo've got 7 more girls coming by October. Thank goodness for boy cousins!
• Your first tooth is about to pop through, we can see the top of it. When I pick you up you grab my face and slobber all over it. I like to think of it as a kiss but I'm pretty sure you're just looking for something to chew on.
• And finally, you really want to sit up all by yourself but that head is just so heavy. You're getting there!
