Whew! We've had a busy weekend! Mike had a four day weekend and we made the most of it. Here are a few highlights:

Saturday evening we went to a BBQ with some friends. There were three girls there, 8 months, 3 and 4 years old. They love Samuel and he loved them. He was in heaven rolling around all over the floor with them. This is Olivia trying to keep him from rolling away. It didn't work.

Watching the big kids do sparklers. Notice the festive jammies. We went home before dark and put Samuel to bed. Then we sat out on the drive way and watched the fireworks around the neighborhood.

Friday we headed down to Pueblo to the river walk. I found a great consignment store for kids clothes. Too bad it's an hour away. :( The boys were nice and followed me through all the girly stores downtown. We finished off the day with On the Border.

And finally...we've retired the bouncer and introduced the high chair. He kept trying to turn over in the bouncer and hated being on the floor while we were eating dinner or I was working in the kitchen. Now he can be on our level and the high chair reclines so he can lean back when he gets tired. I've also been giving him a sippy cup with water in it when he sits in his chair. It's been pretty hot so I let him try some water and he really liked it after the initial gagging. Ha! He loves to gag and then laugh. He thinks it's a great game.
