Friday we had 100 5 boys over to celebrate Samuel’s birthday. This year he chose a Super Hero theme and couldn’t decide on one in particular so we tried to just throw them all in there. We pinned the star on Captain America’s shield, jumped over buildings (boxes) in a single bound and detonated bombs (popped balloons). Then we punched the buildings down because what little boy doesn’t like to punch boxes? Especially when we’ve been trapped inside for weeks.
Thanks to free printables found on Pinterest the cupcakes were a breeze to decorate.
I tried to go for a Super Hero themed banner but it just turned out colorful. Still festive!
Poor baby sister was such a trooper. She was suffering from the worst cold we’ve experienced in our family so far. And we’ve had our fair share of respiratory junk so that’s saying a lot. She was miserable but still smiley through it all. She wore her cupcake bib in honor of the birthday party. A big thank you to Grandma Mary, who was also suffering from the same thing, for taking care of our girl during the party.
The party guests were only still during lunch. We should have had a lot more food I guess!
Molly partied with us too!
All the boys got capes and masks to take home instead of goody bags.
Bomb detonation.
Pin the star
Cupcake time!
He loves a good party!
A fun day!
