It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We are busy cramming as much Christmas into our weekend as possible!  Last night we watched The Polar Express while we ate pizza in the living room (Tuesday is Polar Express day at school so I thought it might help for Samuel to know what it’s all about).  Then this morning we went to the Christmas parade and saw lots of floats and collected lots of candy.

You have to have some donut holes while you wait for the parade to start.

We saw the band…

Giant snowmen…

The Shriners cars (my favorite part, Molly’s least favorite)…

And lots of horses.  I didn’t get any pictures of those because, well, I’ll just let you see why in the next few pictures.  Someone loved the horses…

And last but not least…Santa Claus!!!

Then we headed back to the house for some train building.

Molly enjoyed some toy time without brother stealing her stuff.

And brother took the train decorating very seriously.  Ever met a three year old who had to make it look exactly like the picture on the box?  That’s our Samuel!

A fun day!  And the little people are snoozing in preparation for some new friends coming to dinner tonight.
