We had a lot of work to do last week to prepare for Daddy’s arrival. A house gets really dirty in 6 months!
We also had to make some decorations.
Sister supervises from the front porch. An empty pools saves from a lot of gravel ingestion!
Cool guy in the “fancy car.” Somehow the fact that he calls sports or classic cars “fancy” takes away from his coolness.

Waking up the morning that Daddy came home. My plan was not to tell him until we got in the car to go to the airport since any delays would result in a meltdown. This boy was too smart though, and he figured me out. That morning I walked in his room and he said, “Daddy comes home today!”
So we spent the morning at the splashpad. I was hoping for early naps since Mike was coming in right in the middle of normal naptime. And my plan worked like a charm!
