10 Months

Molly was 10 months old on Sunday the 17th.  Wow, we’ll be planning a party pretty soon!

This month saw some major achievements in the mobility department.  We now have a crawler.  She also pulls up but is not cruising yet.  Daddy’s first job when he gets home will be reinstalling the gate at the bottom of the stairs.  Thanks goodness for a mouthy big brother who screams when she goes near them for now.

She has 7 teeth.

Her hair is laying down now.

She eats 4-5 jars of baby food every day.  She’ll eat just about anything.  If she doesn’t seem to like it, just mix it with some fruit and she’ll gobble it right up.  The only thing she doesn’t like is texture—no noodles or lumps for this girl.

She’s eating banana pieces, cheerios and crackers in the solid food category.

Those thighs just keep getting chunkier and look so cute in summer clothes.  Even with the chunk she is still petite, tiny hands and feet especially.  Wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

Her blonde hair and  big blue eyes get lots of attention when we’re out and about.   While she tends to be more of a Momma’s girl than Samuel was a Momma’s boy, she still loves to get attention from strangers.  Although, Sunday was our first day back at our church here and she was a little scared of all of the oohing and ahhing.  Those eyes were huge!

She babbles all the time and her favorite sounds are dadadada and dickle, dickle, dickle.  Sweetest sound ever!
