Aunt Cori called last week with the idea of meeting up for the weekend in Eureka Springs. I’m all about filling up our schedule to make time fly these days so we were in!
Samuel got to feed the fish at the hatchery.
It was also a kids fish for free day at Roaring River so we brought out the old pink Zebco.
Sister supervised.
So did Aunt Cori.
And he caught one…with some help from Papa.
But he didn’t want to eat it.
The next day we had a picnic and played at the lake. Molly was not as smiley. A runny nose and an unfamiliar bed made for a restless night.
Cheesy grin. And the boy loves watermelon.
Picnics are fun!
Sister said, “quit taking pictures and just pick me up!”
Aunt Cori was confused.
There we go. She might have left a little present on Papa’s arm. Sorry Papa.
And some flowers. It was a fun weekend.
And now we’re down to three weeks and three days before we head south. Not that anyone is counting.
