I promised Samuel that as soon as Daddy got home from training that he could go to the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin. So on Monday, that’s what we did! We had to make a stop at Chick-Fil-a first for lunch because the Pumpkin Patch didn’t open until one. He was sad about that.
The best part was pulling his pumpkin in the wagon.
Listening intently to the volunteer who was helping us.
It was windy if you can’t tell by my hair. Yikes!
Our neighborhood started a little game where you “boo” someone by leaving a little basket of goodies at the door, ring the door bell and run. Then you put a sign in your window that says “we’ve been booed” and you’re supposed to boo two more families. Well, we knew our treat was coming soon and Samuel was so excited that when he heard the doorbell last night he came flying out of the bathtub and down the stairs naked as a jaybird to check the door. So whoever booed us got a little more than they bargained for if they were watching from around the corner!
We’ve got our baskets ready and Daddy and Samuel are heading out tonight to find two houses that haven’t been booed yet.
