Grandma and Grandpa Visit Mississippi

We had a fun-filled Columbus Day weekend with Mike’s Mom and Dad.  On Saturday we rented a boat from the base marina and cruised around the bay for awhile.  We had fresh shrimp at Aunt Jenny’s, breakfast at McDonald’s (of course!), walked through the neighborhood garage sale and did lots of visiting.IMG_5196-copyblogGrandpa is usually the man behind the camera so I had to get him in at least one shot!

“Um, Dad, you might want to watch where you’re going!”

Here we are shopping in Ocean Springs just before we got on the news.

I should have taken more pictures but I was having too much fun I guess!  Mike and I finished off the weekend with dinner and a movie. The best part of visitors—free baby-sitting!

We had such a good time with Grandma and Grandpa and we were sad to see them go.  Especially Samuel!  He followed Grandpa around wherever he went the whole weekend and still looks for him under the bed in the guest room.  We hope they can come back very soon.

I wish we could have joined you all. It's so sweet that Samuel looks for his grandpa under the guest bed!
