Mike took the day off to get ready for his exam tomorrow. I put Samuel in bed with him this morning and 45 minutes later I found them both snoozing away. Of course when I took the picture he heard the camera and opened his eyes. Mike was thrilled. He usually will not lay still for even a second. We haven't been able to do this since he was about 3 months old.
It's really cold here right now. Yesterday the high was 12. Samuel has been wearing thermal underwear under his jammies. Today he and Mike wore their flannel and Samuel threw in the cords for good measure. You should see him when we bundle him up to go out. He is stuffed in his car seat and can barely move his head. He just peeks out from under his hat with a look like he wants to hurt us. It's pretty funny. We were hoping to go to the parade downtown tomorrow night but I think it will be a little too cold for us to be outside for 2 hours. Hope everyone is staying warm!

12 degrees! That is ridiculous. I was complaining today when we hit 32. Brrrz! Hmmm, flannel sounds like a good idea.
