He always looks so relaxed with those little arms out like that. So sweet. This is nap number 2 in his bed today. Way to go Sam! He always takes a morning nap in his bed but he's not always so keen on his afternoon nap in there. He'd rather doze in and out in the swing or the bouncer. Maybe the doctor's appt. wore him out.
He now weighs 11 lbs. 8 oz. and is 22 1/4 inches long. That puts him in the 5oth percentile for weight and head (15.5 inches) and 25th for height. At his 2 week appt. he was in the 5oth percentile for height and 25th for weight. No wonder he's looking pudgier these days.
He smiled and talked to the doctor but refused to lift his head up when he was on his belly. That is really strange because he loves to lift it up and look around. He can even push himself up a little bit with his arms. But it was the end of the appt. and he was tired of being messed with, so she took my word for it when I told her he's really strong. We have to go back for his shots because he won't be 8 weeks old until Monday but they are not making well baby appts next week and we're leaving town on the tenth so they're letting us just walk in for those.
Countdown to Oklahoma: 1 week Wahoo!!
