We got to go to Boston sans kids a couple of weeks ago for an early anniversary celebration. It was a fun-filled four days of walking, exploring, talking and eating. Something we haven't enjoyed in a long time! The weather was cool, the food was fantastic and the sights were wonderful. Someday I hope we can take the kids back to see all of the history.
We saw Fenway Park.
We rented a car one day and saw Cape Cod.
And we made a stop in Plymouth where we saw Plymouth Plantation and the Mayflower II.
We took a sunset harbor cruise.
And our boat was named the Samuel Clemens!
Party barge.
We explored Cambridge and Harvard's campus.
Had dinner near Quincy Market.
Toured the Freedom Trail.
And just had a wonderful time staying out late and not stopping for nap time or taking anyone to the potty.
But it was sure nice to get back to all of those things on Wednesday!
