We’ve been busy bees around here this month. We even went to Silver Dollar City with our cousin Dean and Grammy and Papa. The problem is that all of these fun activities are pretty hands on and leave little time for photo ops. So you’ll just have to trust me that we’ve had lots of fun baking and crafts and I’ll try to get better about capturing the moments.
We did snap a few shots of the gingerbread house though.
And we made some funny faces.
The tricky part is that the firstborn has very high standards for what he wants his creation to look like but he is restricted by 5-year-old abilities. And he insists on doing EVERYTHING BY HIMSELF. So there were some frustrations before it was all said and done but it was a good lesson in asking for help and being satisfied with less than perfection. And the finished product looks pretty great if I do say so myself!
Molly is pretty happy with eating the candy as fast she she can chew and making faces for the camera. Thank goodness for that!
Our biggest tree is just now losing its leaves. This is the first time we’ve ever had trees so playing in the leaves is a new adventure for us. What are the chances that I’ll get them to rake them up now?
