The USO has a great program where servicemembers can record themselves reading books to their children and then mail the book and DVD home. Well, today we got our DVD in the mail! Samuel was so excited. Here are a few pictures of his first viewing. I’m sure we’ll be wearing this video out!
Even sister loved seeing Daddy on the tv!
I have to admit that I enjoyed this as much as Samuel. We’re used to seeing him in the dark, grainy and frozen with his eyes half shut and mid-sentence as Skype freezes up over and over. It was a treat to see him clearly. The only problem was that Samuel thought we could talk to him and got a little upset when he just kept reading and not answering. But after he understood what was going on we had a great time. So thank you, Daddy for taking time out of a very busy day to read for us!
