Saturday was the big third birthday party. It was the first birthday that Samuel got to celebrate with any of his grandparents or aunts and uncles. It was a wild and crazy but very fun day!
As usual, Cori did a fantastic job on the cake!
Silly boy posing with his banner.
Aunt Cori with her niece and nephew. Molly really does love Samuel, I promise. Ha!
Pin the number on the car. Only Samuel wanted nothing to do with the blindfold. They ended up decorating the poster with stickers in the end. They had fun so that’s what matters.
Samuel shows Abby how the bean bag toss works.
Pinata time!
Wouldn’t ya know, the last string to be pulled was the magic one!
This card plays “Life is a Highway” when you open it. They thought it was hilarious.
He may need a little practice with the skates.
Not many three-year-olds get gifts all the way from Afghanistan! This is Daddy’s present. He got a handmade “treasure”box, a bear that says Bagram Air Field, some dog tags and a Volkswagen bus from Germany.
Showing Daddy the bear that he sent.
A new rolling backpack.
Cake time!
We tried to get a sibling shot and this is the best of several. One day we’ll get it!
What’s more fun than destroying a cake? Don’t worry, Aunt Cori made cupcakes for the adults.
Grandpa and Molly
It was a fun day. We’re thankful that we had so many friends and family come to celebrate with us. We wish Daddy could have been here with us. He makes every party more fun. I posted all of the pictures we took in the following album if you’re interested.
