A local church owns a camp that has a Christmas Train every year. Papa was a little under the weather so he and Molly stayed home while Samuel, Grandma, Grammy and I all headed out to Dry Gulch. It was like a an Old West city complete with restaurants, Santa, train depot, playground and so much more. Samuel had a great time. As soon as we pulled in he started with “chugga chugga choo choo!” over and over.
We looked around in this General Store for a minute. Samuel wanted to know if it was Hobby Lobby.
In line for the train.
The train ride included an interactive version of the Christmas Story.
After we got off the train, we went to a little theater to watch a short clip.
See Daddy? We told you we wouldn’t let Samuel forget about you! He got an IRA lesson while were there. Ha!
You can never pass up a carousel.
There was a miniature train but Samuel was not a huge fan.
Get me off Grammy!
Pony Rides
And of course we never skip the playground!
We had a great night!
