Well, it’s been a whirlwind of a week for the Burns Family! Mike has arrived at his location safely. He hit the ground running and is busy and tired. We are hoping that he is able to get internet set up in his room so that we can find out more about how his trip is going so far very soon.
Until then the rest of us are settling in at Papa and Grammy’s. Both children are adjusting very well and Samuel is loving the fact that he has so many grandparents at his beck and call. We might be in trouble come June.
I’m hoping to take some pictures with our big camera soon but until then here are a few phone pictures:
We were able to get a pass to sit at the gate with Mike until his plane left on Thursday. Samuel had a great time running through the rows of chairs. It’s a good thing the airport wasn’t busy. He was friends with all the passengers in no time.
Samuel was in the car all day Saturday and then sick on Sunday. It rained Monday so we haven’t been able to burn much energy in awhile. The poor boy asked me a million times if it was warm out this morning so we finally just bundled up and headed out for a few minutes before lunch.
The cold didn’t seem to bother him at all!
