This morning Molly had her 2 week well baby check-up and Samuel went across the street to play with his friends Ben and Nathan. But before we left I had to snap a few pictures of big brother talking and singing to his little sister after breakfast.
We had a great report at the Doctor’s office! Molly weighs 8 lbs. and is 20.5 inches long. She has grown an inch and a half and is 5 ounces beyond her birth weight! She’s growing like a weed.
Samuel is adjusting to life as a brother. He is learning to put his own clothes on—he has his underwear, shorts and socks down like a champ and just needs a little help getting his shirt over his head. He has decided that Molly’s meal time is the perfect opportunity to have Mommy scratch his back with her free hand. So, 6-7 times a day you will find the three of us eating and back scratching. I thought I was busy when Samuel was born! So far adjusting to two is much easier than adjusting to one but I haven’t done anything like housework or cooking yet so talk to me again next week.
