Checking out Santa Claus. We found a free Santa! The Coca-Cola truck came to our commissary yesterday and Santa was there from 12-4. We got there right at noon and Samuel was the first in line. We got his picture and they gave him some treats and we were headed to Denver before 12:15. I'm glad we waited a week instead of waiting at the mall for an hour. And we saved $20. They took his picture, gave us a copy and an online code to download it, plus they let me snap a couple with our camera. Pretty good deal!
We always celebrate our Christmas before heading to Oklahoma. This year yesterday was the day! It saves having to take our gifts to each other home and back plus it's nice to have our own little tradition. I always make a big breakfast and we open gifts.
Opening his fire truck. As you can see from the picture above Samuel was more interested in climbing the stairs than opening presents. He doesn't get to be in the dining room very often so he had to climb while he could.
Checking out his stocking gifts--bubbles and yogurt melts to keep him entertained on the car ride to OK
The men in the family got new undershirts. Samuel's were too small and Mike's were...well...pretty gross quite frankly. Now they both have new, white undershirts that fit!
Mike's first of many "Christmas Eve" toy assemblies.
