Taggy

I made several taggy blankets and gave them away but I never made one for Samuel. The other day he kept trying to chew on Josey's so I decided to make him one yesterday afternoon. I even top-stitched it--which is a big deal because I'm not very good at sewing a straight line. He loves it! He keeps rubbing the polka dot ribbon on his cheek. I also tried making a diaper/wipes pouch that I found a pattern for on the internet. It didn't turn out so well. But I will try again. I should have been more interested in sewing when I lived with my Mom instead of 12 hours away. Ha! I just keep telling myself that I was not very good at crocheting when I first started and now I'm not great but I can make things the right size and shape!
This morning he had a horrible blow out during Bible Study. I couldn't figure out why the ladies in the nursery didn't put his own clothes on him instead of the church clothes. Then I got home and saw the awful mess in the plastic sack--I'm pretty sure they weren't thinking about cute outfits, poor things! It was really terrible. To top it all off he's very hard to change because he wants to roll over all the time. His regular teacher knows to give him a toy to distract him but these ladies didn't know that. It took both of them to get the job done! Oh well, they both have children so they know how it is.
Gotta go change the laundry!
