It's the Last Day of Summer

And it's snowing in Colorado. Yep, we went to Target this morning and walked out of the store to snow. Naturally Samuel thought it was hilarious. And he got lots of compliments on his pumpkin hat in the store. A friend of mine gave me a couple of blanket sleepers at church yesterday--perfect timing! It's in the low 40's right now and earlier today they had to close Loveland Pass. Our snow isn't sticking down here and it's mostly rain but we definitely have had some flakes. Crazy!
Yesterday was Samuel's last day in the Cribbers room for Sunday School. Actually he only made it 20 minutes and he tried to pull a stroller over on himself. So they moved him up to the Crawlers room. I was pretty sure yesterday would be his last day based on all of the pulling up he started last week. I'm okay with that. The 18-month olds(including a notorious biter) promoted out last week so I'm not nervous about one of them hurting him anymore. He's still the smallest one in there but his teacher said they put him on the floor and he immediately crawled over to the biggest child, yanked the pacifier out her mouth, turned around and took off back toward the Cribber room. I was worried about him being bullied and HE is the bully! All that to say I think he can hold his own. And this room has lots of fun mats and toys to play with and they keep strollers and such out of reach. My little boy is growing up!
Here are some pics from the weekend:
Rooting for the Cowboys...which we don't get to watch. But we still have team spirit. Maybe we'll get to see them when they play Colorado in November. We're still testing our theory but it seems that when Samuel wears orange on game day they win. If not, they lose. HA! It's a good thing Aunt Cori got him that OSU sweatsuit!

Wait, you mean I can't climb the stairs anymore? What's up with that?
